The third volume of Places of BI in Madrid is dedicated to indicate the places where they fought brigades XI, XII, XIV and XV during the months of December 1936 to February 1937, as well as those where they enjoyed some time rest and reorganization. Although the battlefield and the performances of the four international brigades have preferential attention, it is worth pointing out the many places of Madrid’s geography, unknown until now, those who passed the different battalions: Valdeavero, Pezuela de las Torres, Velilla de San Antonio, San Fernando de Henares, Miraflores de la Sierra … Keep that after heavy fighting, the units needed time to rest, regroup with new fighters, continuing education, etc. and all required sections and quiet places.
